Data Center
x86 and Unix servers, NAS, storage arrays, deduplication appliances, storage switches (Fibre Channel, iSCSI) and tape libraries.
For 20 years we have been designing, delivering and maintaining IT environments for companies and organizations where downtime translates into real losses. Servers, storage arrays, products for building LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networks and ensuring security, software, applications and cloud - end-to-end: from needs analysis through delivery to support and maintenance services across the entire lifecycle.
We design, deliver and maintain complete IT environments - physical, virtualized and cloud. We specialize in building IT solutions that ensure stability, business continuity and secure access to applications. Hardware and software are delivered physically (on-premise) or in an as-a-service model from our Data Centers (IaaS, PaaS) and the public cloud.
The services cover all areas related to delivering IT infrastructure and software, from design and concept, through delivery, deployment and integration with existing solutions, all the way to support and maintenance through the end of the lifecycle and operation.
x86 and Unix servers, NAS, storage arrays, deduplication appliances, storage switches (Fibre Channel, iSCSI) and tape libraries.
Wired LAN and WAN networks and wireless WLAN/Wi-Fi.
Support for compliance with NIS2 and GDPR; Security Operations Center (SOC), SIEM, SOAR, Multi-Factor Authentication, firewalls, routers, integrated UTM security systems.
Label printers, rugged terminals and tablets, barcode scanners and software for fixed-asset tracking.
Desktops, laptops, workstations, peripherals, Certum electronic signature.
Operating systems, virtualization, databases, office applications (e.g. Microsoft CSP, Adobe), business and specialized applications - including industrial CCTV monitoring.
High availability clusters (Microsoft Always On, Microsoft fail-over, Oracle Clusterware), stretched storage (IBM High Availability Policy Based, IBM HyperSwap, Dell EMC Metro Node) and backup Data Center sites on-premises and in the cloud.
Building and maintaining a private cloud in the client's or Asseco BS Data Center, integration with public clouds such as Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and hybrid scenarios.
We supply products from every vendor available on the market. The largest volume comes from Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, HPE Synergy, Lenovo ThinkSystem and IBM Power servers, and IBM FlashSystem and Dell PowerStore storage arrays. The specific model depends on performance requirements, environment size and the client's preferences and needs.
For High Availability (HA) we rely on virtualization-based clusters, stretched storage and database clusters. If you have compliance requirements or need low network latency, choose Private Cloud - on your premises or at Asseco BS. If you want to take advantage of the reliability of global providers, choose Public Cloud. In every scenario you can rely on Asseco BS specialists who maintain such solutions every day.
Most often we rely on high availability clusters built on virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V, Oracle Linux KVM, Oracle VM, IBM Power, VMware vSphere, Proxmox, Proxmox HCI), stretched storage clusters (IBM High Availability Policy Based, IBM HyperSwap, Dell EMC Metro Node) and database clusters (e.g. Oracle Clusterware, Microsoft fail-over, Microsoft Always On). An additional Data Center site, in our case our second Data Center, runs in active mode and additionally serves as Disaster Recovery (DR). DR can be supplemented with public cloud resources.
Private Cloud is a dedicated cloud environment built in the client's or provider's Data Center, with full control over the hardware, network and virtualization layers. Public cloud (e.g. Microsoft Azure) is, as a rule, shared resources delivered by a global provider on a pay-as-you-go basis. Private Cloud is chosen by organizations with compliance requirements, sector-specific regulators or a need for low network latency.
Solid hardware infrastructure tailored to business requirements - with full support across the entire lifecycle.
One competent partner with a complete and comprehensive offering: analysis, delivery, deployment, integration, maintenance. OEM agreements cut costs by up to 50%. Infrastructure and services from our own Data Centers and 24/7 SOC.
Analysis, concept, delivery, deployment, integration, support and maintenance - with a single point of accountability.
IT solutions deployed thoughtfully to keep costs down, plus OEM agreements.
Support for specific technologies or entire environments removes the client's burden of building narrow in-house competencies.
The most common acronyms and industry terms in one place.
Servers: Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, HPE Synergy, Lenovo ThinkSystem, IBM Power.
NAS: QNAP, Synology.
Storage arrays: IBM FlashSystem, IBM SAN Volume Control, IBM Tape Storage, Dell PowerStore, Dell PowerVault/ME, HPE Alletra, HPE MSA, Lenovo ThinkSystem.
The choice of specific products depends on performance requirements, environment size and the client's needs.
As an ERP-class software vendor, Asseco BS can deliver IT infrastructure (hardware together with software) on special terms for clients running Asseco applications.
In most cases the purchased products can also be used for other workloads. Savings versus the publicly available offer reach up to 50% of cost.
After analyzing the client's environment, we most often propose deploying a virtualized environment based on a cost-optimal hypervisor.
Where needed, we migrate physical and virtualized environments from Unix to x86_64, change the hypervisor, and set up high availability clusters for Oracle and Microsoft databases while observing rules that limit the number of required licenses.
We also provide support services for specific technologies or entire IT solutions - so the client does not need to build and maintain specialized competencies in-house.
High availability clusters based on hypervisors: Microsoft Hyper-V, Oracle Linux KVM, Oracle VM, IBM Power, VMware vSphere, Proxmox.
Stretched storage cluster: IBM High Availability Policy Based, IBM HyperSwap, Dell EMC Metro Node.
Database clusters: e.g. Oracle Clusterware, Microsoft Always On, Microsoft Fail-over.
Disaster Recovery: an additional Data Center site or the public cloud (e.g. Microsoft Azure) as a backup site.
