Information security is now the foundation of trust in business. Asseco Business Solutions has just confirmed its position in this area by successfully passing the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification audit — one of the most important and demanding information security standards on the market.
The certification covers key areas of the company’s operations: ERP systems, solutions for the FMCG sector, and the integration of solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI).
The certification confirms that the organization has implemented and maintains structured processes and information protection measures — including customer data — covering, among others, risk management, access control, incident management, and continuous improvement of security measures.
As part of the audit, the certification body also verified the implementation of information security processes in the context of deploying artificial intelligence (AI)-based solutions. Thanks to this, clients can be confident that information security at Asseco Business Solutions is managed in a systematic manner and subject to regular verification.
Audit completed with a positive recommendation
The assessment process was carried out by the independent certification body ISOQAR. The audit concluded with a positive recommendation for certification and constituted the second, final stage of verifying compliance with the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard.
This is not only a formal confirmation of meeting international requirements. It is proof of the high organizational maturity of Asseco BS and the consistent implementation of its strategy to build a comprehensive Information Security Management System (ISMS).
What did the auditors particularly appreciate?
The audit team highlighted three key areas:
- Responsible approach to AI-based solutions – the design and implementation of systems using artificial intelligence are carried out in accordance with the highest standards of security and risk control.
- Consistency and scalability of security mechanisms – the solutions implemented within the organization are uniform, effective, and ready to support the company’s further growth.
- Maturity of information management processes – security is an integral part of the organization’s daily operations, not merely a set of procedures.
Scope of certification – what does ISO/IEC 27001:2022 cover?
The certificate covers the Information Security Management System in the following scope:
- development, implementation, and provision of IT services,
- IT project management,
- design, development, implementation, administration, and maintenance of IT solutions,
- design, development, implementation, administration, maintenance, and integration of artificial intelligence (AI)-based solutions.
